今天是六一儿童节，打开电脑、翻开手机，大朋友小朋友们都在过六一。对于外教老师来说，六一儿童节也是非常重要的节日，可是你知道儿童节的来历吗?外教一对一今天就来跟大家普及一下。 The World Conference for the Well-being of Children in Geneva, Switzerland proclaimed June 1 to be International Children's Day in1925. It is not clear as to why June 1 was chosen as the International Children's Day: one theory has it that the Chinese consul-general in San Francisco (USA) gathered a number of Chinese orphans to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival in 1925, which happened to be on June 1 that year. 1925年的时候，瑞士日内瓦国际会议上将6月1日设为“国际儿童节”。为什么是6月1日这个日子呢?事实上并没有一个相对准确的答案。一种说法认为：由于1925年，位于美国旧金山的中国总领事将一群中国孤儿召集在一起庆祝端午节，而当天正好是6月1日。 国际儿童日 Universal Children's Day takes place on November 20 annually.
